The editor of McAfee security solutions announces the acquisition of the company Trust Digital, which specializes in mobile infrastructure for businesses and security solutions.
Trust Digital develops and software agents for smartphones and PDAs on different OSes, including iPhone OS, Android, Web OS, Windows Mobile and Symbian. In addition to these software clients, the publisher sells a complete platform for centralized management mobile devices and Web Consoles that can be segmented according to different user profiles.
With this acquisition, McAfee intends to confirm their willingness to be a provider of comprehensive security solutions, the publisher announced that it will incorporate features from Trust Digital products at the mixing console McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO).
McAfee intends to place himself in a strong position on securing parks smartphones used in businesses, the publisher already protects 180 million terminal.
McAfee expects to close the transaction, including an undisclosed amount before June 30 next.
