SocialToo Launched Anti-Virus Solution for Twitter

A worm is propagating through Twitter direct messages (DMs) trying to trick unsuspecting members into thinking it?s a legitimate message from a friend. SocialToo has a solution for that and is launching automatic anti-virus solutions for Twitter and other social networks.

Starting now, as part of a new premium service the company is offering, anyone who goes to SocialToo and checks the "Send SocialToo DM e-mails" box will no longer receive malicious DMs we detect as rampant on Twitter, as we will be stopping them at their source. For instance, the "hey. i make $300-500 a day online. this website showed me how" DMs that have been flooding the network over the last few days will automatically be deleted from your Twitter DM box and reported to Twitter?s @spam account on users'behalf. Also, the "rofl, this you on here?" DMs will never show up.

Here?s what users
need to do for it to be most effective:

- Click "Sign in With Twitter" on SocialToo.com. Click on the Preferences tab and check the box "Send SocialToo DM e-mails".
- Go to the "Settings" link in the upper-right hand corner of Twitter. Click on the "Notices" tab, and uncheck the "Direct Text E-mails" option.
- Go to the Devices tab and turn off device notifications.
Once users have done all of the above, SocialToo will now be responsible for notifying them of new DMs.

This new automatic virus detection is free until November 1st for all SocialToo users.

Nokia 3720 classic review

Nokia 3720 classic is looks like Nokia 6303 mobile phone with the exception of the camera. Here the same screen. Battery, hardware and software platform. All matches to the last detail, even the theme. The cost of these machines are also identical, so choosing between them is from a position of vulnerability, need it or not. Naturally the audience of classical, metal 6303 more, but in its segment of the 3720 classic would be the best offer.

Naturally, there are Samsung B2700 and B2100 Xplorer (already with the degree of protection IP-57, ie the possibility of immersion in water up to 10 minutes), but from the standpoint of functionality, design is a very niche offers. This level of protection needs very little, I imagine bad situations where you want to phone a long stay in the water. But nice design, the usual size and standard for this class of functionality Nokia 3720 classic is quite outweigh the bonuses protect those models. At least for most buyers it is absolutely true.

Specifications mobile phone Nokia 3720 classic:

- Networks: GSM / EDGE 900/1800/1900
- Platform: Series 40 6th Edition
- Display: 2.2-inch with a resolution of 320x240 pixels, 16M colors
- Memory: 20 MB, slot for memory cards format microSD (up to 8 GB)
- Camera: 2 megapixel, LED flash, video recording QCIF
- Communications: Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR (A2DP)
- FM-radio with RDS
- Impact-resistant, dust-and waterproof
- Hours: Talk time up to 7 hours (GSM), Standby up to 408 hours
- Battery: Li-Ion 1050 mAh
- Dimensions: 115x47x15, 3 mm
- Weight: 94 g

Design

Nokia 3720 classic is very simple in design, there are no experiments with the form of housing, as in the previous secure apparatus 5500 Sport. A small, neat piece with a typical size might be a little excessive thickness. All the angles slightly rounded, due to which the phone is very conveniently placed in the hand, ergonomics are very good. The proportions of the phone practically coincide with the Nokia 6303 with the exception of thickness. The body is made mostly of hard, highly resistant to damage matte gray plastic. This material is not completely visible scrapes. And later, when they clearly will not, plastic for this model have chosen the most practical, durable. The way he does not seem expensive, but in a protected model, and it should not appear as such.

Color solutions so far, two, it's gray and yellow, and differ only in color rubber inserts, the main color models - gray. Later it will add the orange and blue color combinations look good, fit in the general style and positioning of the model.

Edging the front panel - it is stainless steel, it is dull, whole, thus edging provides extra rigidity and protects the screen. Between the lining and the plastic around the perimeter is a thin rubber insert, so that the tightness of the shell is quite assured. Side volume keys also made of rubber, without joints, they are part of the outline. Most controls do not, it was made for greater integrity.

The rear panel is fixed by screws, a standard for secure solutions. Screw is very tight, nail it to unscrew not work, just a coin. Panels made of thick plastic with rubber inserts, when tightened, the screw design is obtained very monolithic. Metal screw himself, too, a pleasant trifle. Under the hood is the battery, all the slots (for the SIM and memory card) are already under it. Camera lens is protected by plastic, no joints, it is not recessed into the body. There is also the slot dynamics and LED flash.

At the bottom there is a rubber stopper in the closed position is only available slot for charging, all other connectors (microUSB and 2.5 mm headset jack) hidden under there. Construction is common, there is a focus for the opening of the stub, it is fairly rigid, fastened to the body tightly. But often it is bending (and it will have to do every time you want to connect your headphones or cable) will eventually leak can be broken, from that no one is immune. In our crash-test, we'll check the door for reliability.

Keyboard

The keyboard apparatus is made in the general style of the phone. The buttons are made of soft plastic body with no gap, the course of their minimal. All of this - especially protected models, there do not have to rely on the maximum convenience of the keyboard, because the main task - to reduce the chance of getting into the water, dust.

The Nokia 3720 classic situation is good because the keys are large, distinct, they have not done a single block, their easy to use. Metallic navigation key, it is inscribed indicator, which flashes at short intervals. The keys are lit in white, rather bright and uniform.

Screen

Screen Nokia 3720 classic quality does not differ from the majority decisions of the company, he implemented the technology TFT, has a size of 2.2 inches. That is exactly the same as in the 6303 classic, 6700 classic, and others. The physical dimensions of 32 x 46 mm, a display capable of displaying up to 16 million colors and shades. The maximum brightness level just below, there is no possibility of its adjustment, is done automatically only ambient light detector. As a result, the screen seems a bit dull, but in reality it is not critical.

Behavior of the screen in the sun - are traditionally excellent for all products of the company, the information is fully visible.

Communications

Jack for a headset, a cable connector is a microUSB, located at the lower end of the device. MicroUSB cable is present in the kit. For data transfer speed of large differences with the current devices is about 900 kbps. Standard USB - 2.0, there is also support for the regime Mass Storage, you can choose what quality to use the device - a disk drive, PC Suite, a dial-up connection. Connecting as a disk drive unit does not come off-line profile that belongs to the pluses of the model. When a cable is charging the phone does not happen.

Supporting Bluetooth-A2DP profile allows you to use with the apparatus of a wireless stereo headset, is no problem, everything is quite ordinary. Bluetooth profiles are:
  • A2DP
  • Dial Up Networking Profile
  • File Transfer Profile
  • Generic Access Profile
  • Service Discovery Application Profile
  • Headset Profile
  • Handsfree (Car Kit) Profile
  • Generic Object Exchange Profile (OBEX)
  • Object Push Profile
  • File Transfer Profile
  • Basic Printing Profile
  • Audio Video Remote Control Profile
  • Advanced Audio Distribution Profile
  • Enhanced Data Rate
  • Dual Profile Bluetooth (Voice & Data)
  • vNote

Battery

In the model used Li-Ion Battery BL-5CT standard capacity of 1050 mAh, exactly the same as in 6303. The Nokia 6300, as well as in the 6700 classic battery smaller in size, 860 mAh. With an average level of stress (about one hour of calls, up to two hours of listening to MP3 and radio, an hour's work with other functions and menus) phone can hold about three days, it is a standard result in the present time, sufficient for most users. Predecessors work less, especially noticeable when listening to MP3, where Nokia 3720 classic is entirely analogous to 6303 in terms of software, like all the new models the company is based on the sixth edition of the Series 40 platform, which was significantly different from the fifth edition. First improve the comfort, all the menus have horizontal drop-down lists, which reduces the number of clicks required to access a particular function. Lists appear in the navigation buttons to the right, it can be set up, additional fields in the phone book, much more. Previously, each such list was an extra level of nested menus, now select the options you want, you can simply press deviation.

Add a lot of animation effects, popup windows, the interface looks nicer, more interesting, more modern. But in general it is only a revolution, the global processing of all no, but that is not required. Organization of the menu, standby remained at the same level of customization (your phone by itself) Nokia Series 40 devices - some of the best, and it is not clear what else you can add the new edition. Wishes of many multitasking Java-applications no, this principled policy of the company in respect of ordinary phones, for which blame Nokia 6303 or other devices should not be. But for most users, such political questions are not interesting, because phones from Sony Ericsson, Samsung are multitasking. Be that as it may, it is the only moment in which the Series 40 6th Edition inferior competitors, everything else sold at excellent level. Even the browser in the new edition of the platform came close to what is used on a S60 - is an open source development.the time goes up to 18-20 hours. Full charging time is approximately one and a half hours.
