The first to be launched around 500 euros, while the second, later spearheaded the brand, should see its price vary from 600 to 650 euros depending on the country.

Nokia has delivered, through its Italian site, some information on the launch of its future smartphones Windows Phone 8, the Lumia 820 and Lumia 920.  On this page , we learn that the two terminals are expected to enter the market in the month of November, a date expected and logical, since Microsoft is expected to launch its operating system around October 29.

The book also Finnish manufacturer suggested retail price for these two terminals in Italy: it is set to 499 euros for the Lumia 820, and 599 euros for the Lumia 920.  For the latter, however, should give vary by country.  In Germany, a press release indicates that the launch will take place and also in November, but this time did state a suggested retail price of 649 euros.

Facebook launches in the sale of real gifts online

Facebook is preparing to launch an online store, which will buy gifts in connection with physical events, such as a friend's birthday, for example. A new way to exploit the targeting of the social network, but that should not overshadow the cybermarchants, at least in the immediate future.

At its inception, Facebook allowed to provide virtual gifts to their contacts, on the occasion of an anniversary, for example.  Today, the social network goes further, announcing the upcoming launch of an online "real" gifts.

Amazon and others have provided no reason to tremble, at least for the moment: the blue platform intends to focus initially on relatively modest gifts like cakes, teddy bear, or cards Starbucks gift.  With products priced limited, Facebook hopes to motivate maximum number of users to send a small gift as an accompaniment to a "happy birthday" posted on a timeline.  The approach makes sense, insofar as the social network is a landmark for many users on this point. "People who wish a happy birthday to each other is a norm on Facebook» Gokul Rajaram explained, the advertising manager of the platform to Wired last July .

Another unique service is that the recipient is alerted of this sending a gift before it is shipped: it is possible to possibly choose color - or flavor s' it is a cake - and even change to another item of the same value.  A possibility that somewhat distorts the initial approach, but avoids disappointment.

OLED: LG accuses Samsung of patent infringement

A new war for patents? Samsung is now accused of violating LG seven of its patents related to OLED technology. A complaint that echoes it filed earlier in September by Samsung against LG. Involved ... OLED technology.

Yet the hearts of legal disputes that do not end with Apple, Samsung is faced with a new complaint for patent infringement.  This time, it's another South Korean company, LG, accusing the manufacturer unauthorized use seven patents on the design of OLED displays.

Samsung filed violate elements related to the design of OLED panels and circuit conductors.  Some design elements are also involved: many are targeted mobile of the firm, including the Galaxy S III, Galaxy Note or the Galaxy Tab 7.7.

"This complaint was filed to enforce the rights of LG Display in intellectual property, and to promote fair competition," said LG in a statement.

LG's accusations against Samsung does not, however, come out of nowhere in early September , is attacking Samsung LG of stealing at least 18 related OLED technologies confidential.  Information leakage and espionage were the case of Samsung, which last week lost two OLED displays destination IFA in Berlin.

The atmosphere is tense between the two South Korean companies.  LG calls today blocking sales of targeted products in South Korea, as well as 7 billion won (€ 5 million) in damages, or $ 1 billion patent infringed.

Even if the amount requested is minimal compared to 1.049 billion that Samsung was recently ordered to pay to Apple, it is likely that the company does not allow LG to face.  It could be here the beginning of a new war of patents on the bottom of a technology with which South Korea intends to invest in the market next year.

Asus and Google would work on low cost version of the Nexus 7

According to the site Digitimes, Asus and Google prepare low cost version of their tablet Nexus 7, which could be sold below $ 100 by the end of the year. Another version, thinner, could accompany him.

Digitimes , citing "industry sources," explains Google and Asus is preparing to stiff competition at the end of the year, particularly because of the expected launch of a 7-inch iPad mini.  The two firms, which launched in late August their tablet versions 8 and 16 GB respectively 199 and 249 euros, have not said their last word for 2012.

We thus find the program a slimmer version of the current model, which would be available in the U.S. at a price of $ 199 - the price of the current 8GB version in the United States - but also a model that would cost $ 99.

At this stage of the rumor, impossible to know what size could imply lower prices: Digitimes merely states that these new versions, Asus would have turned to the Taiwanese manufacturer for HannStar Display screens.

The site Digitimes is not always exemplary reliability when it comes to speculate on future products, but this rumor could motivate some buyers wait a bit before investing in a tablet.

Facebook working on a search engine

If the CEO of the social network has confirmed that no Facebook Phone was immediate plans , he has stressed that against the working platform on its "research." "We are currently one billion request per day, while we do not even try," he said.  Underlying message: imagine the potential if we really tried.

"Facebook is pretty well placed to respond to people's questions. At some point, we will. We have a question that is working on it, "said Mark Zuckerberg.  For him, the traditional search engines return too many results that do not necessarily respond to questions. "The search engines really need to evolve a set of answers:" I have a specific question, answer this question for me. '"

Interactions between users of the social network could thus be utilized to enhance the relevance of research.  To some extent, this approach is reminiscent of that Google, with its +1 button and Google+, is already looking to refine searches through community recommendations.  Question is whether Facebook will build its relationship with Microsoft and Bing to engage in research.

Apple would be less dependent on Samsung for iPhone 5

In order to diversify its suppliers, the Cupertino company will supply at least its main partner, Samsung, to supply the memory chips of the next iPhone.

Samsung is a pillar in the manufacture of Apple products.  South Korean provides microprocessors, screens and memory chips also used in iPod, iPad and iPhone.  According to a source close to the negotiations cited by Reuters, Apple has reduced orders for memory chips (DRAM and NAND) with Samsung for the iPhone 5, which is expected unveiling Wednesday, September 12. According to Bloomberg, it would be a disagreement between the two companies on prices.

The American dismissed Samsung's list of suppliers of memory chips for the first delivered to the iPhone 5.  However, the South Korean remains one of its main partners, said the industry source, including the new smartphone.  Apple's maneuver would have benefited the Japanese Toshiba and Elpida Memory and Hynix of South Korea.

The author of the information denied market speculation under which this shelving Samsung would be the result of multiple legal battles from both manufacturers of smartphones and tablets.
An analyst quoted by Bernstein notes that orders for DRAM and NAND memory chips with the South Korean "fell significantly representing 2.5% of revenues from Samsung."  In addition, the activity of Samsung memory was the only back from year to year in the last quarter (8%).  In total, Apple weighs 9% in income from Samsung.

According to a source quoted by the Korea Economic Daily, Apple iPhone 5 will equip its main battery from Amperex Technology Chinese and Japanese Panasonic, leaving somewhat subsidiary specializing in lithium-ion batteries Samsung SDI.  For the provision of the screen, LG is one of the main partners for the iPhone 5 at the expense of Sharp who has lost a bit of ground, indicates the person consulted by the Korean newspaper.

Samsung, which has not yet commented on the information remains the sole supplier of microprocessors for Apple's iPhone and iPad.  A strengthened relationship in late August by the announcement of depth increase its production capacity at its plant in semiconductors Texas.  This is made an investment of $ 4 billion to convert its foundry initially reserved for memory chips to manufacture SoC (System on a Chip) 28 nm for mobile devices.
