Philips MCi500H Wireless Micro Hi-Fi System


Philips introduces the Streamium MCi500H, a wireless micro Hi-Fi system that allows you to enjoy all your music wirelessly. Streamium MCi500H features a 160GB hard drive for you to store music. You can transfer music from your PC to its internal hard drive. It can play music from the hard drive or USB drives.

The Streamium MCi500H can also do music streaming to up to 5 station using Wi-Fi connection. The device supports MP3, WMA, and non-DRM AAC music playback while MP3 recording is also supported. It has 2×50 W RMS Hi-Fi sound with Class “D” Digital Amplifier, Hi-Fi Dome Tweeters and 5.25 ” Woofers.

The MCi500H also offers the option to wirelessly stream music stored on the hard disk to up to five Wi-Fi “stations” located anywhere in the house. On sale from August, the MCi500H has an estimated price of £399 ($800).

Nikon COOLPIX S610c Wi-Fi enabled Camera introduced

The COOLPIX S610c is the first Wi-Fi camera to utilize the Wi-Fi Protected Set-up (WPS), making it easier than ever to send and store images and videos via Wi-Fi. By using the S610c’s One Touch Email button and Nikon’s my Picturetown, consumers can share their images and videos.

Each S610c ships with a free subscription to Wayport’s Wi-Fi service valid until August 31, 2011, allowing consumer access to the service’s 10,000 hotspots.
The COOLPIX S610c will be available nationwide beginning September 2008 with an MSRP of $329.95.
