2.6 million downloads of Opera Mini on iPhone

Jon von Tetzchner, co-founder and former CEO of Opera Software, has released its monthly report on the uses of mobile browser Opera Mini.

Still growing, the company recorded in April, 59.8 million mobile users using the browser, which represents an increase of 6.6% in March and an increase of 152% over one year. Last month, are 26.3 billion pages were viewed with Opera Mini, or 3.7 petabytes of compressed data on company servers.
