Nokia 5330 Mobile TV Edition

Nokia announced the Nokia 5330 entertainment Mobile TV Edition with support for 3G, work in social networks and mobile TV. Mobile TV is developing good rate: according to experts, by 2012, more than 300 million people worldwide will watch television through their mobile phones.

Owners of phones can use the popular social networking sites such as Ovi Contacts, Facebook, MySpace and YouTube, in addition, there is support for instant messaging services in Windows Live Messenger, Google Talk, Yahoo! Messenger, ICQ, AOL and others.


Hardware new device is almost identical to Nokia 5330 XpressMusic, except support mobile TV standard DVB-H. Characteristics of the slider is quite mediocre: 3.2 megapixel camera, 2.4-inch screen with a resolution of 240x320 pixels, 3,5 mm audio jack.

DVB-H technology is based on the European standard of digital TV DVB-T for mobile devices. The main feature of this technology - a discrete signal, which is conducive to power cell phones.
