Diskeeper Corporation announces the availability of Diskeeper 2010, the new version of its defragmentation. The main novelty introduced by this update is the technology Intelliwrite. It would be capable, according to publisher, preventing up to 85% of disk fragmentation at source by burning so "intelligent" files to those above. Diskeeper 2010 also offers compatibility with Windows 7 Accredited.

The software is available, as previous versions, in several editions. The Home version is sold at a price of 39.95 dollars. The Professional version provides more iFAAST 2.0 technology, which accelerates access and create files on NTFS volumes. It is marketed at a price of 59.95 dollars. Finally, the Pro Premier version also enables faster defragment volumes over a TB, for a price of 99.95 dollars. A version for Windows Home Server is also available for 59.95 dollars.
