WP7: Microsoft looks to Android developers

Always with a view to further expand its catalog of applications for users of Windows 7 Phone, Microsoft is turning to developers of Android.

Having facilitated the porting of applications iOS last month, the team says Windows phone in one of his last notes have worked on tools that allow developers to more easily deploy their applications on Windows Phone 7.

In addition to a quick start guide of 90 pages, the Redmond company has made available documentation back to each class of development on Android, their equivalent on Windows Phone 7. "We must consider the mapping tool APIs such as a translation dictionary," says Jean-Christophe Cemetery, an expert on interoperability at Microsoft.
