Targus Wi-Fi Laser mouse at $49.99

Targus today introduced a new Wi-Fi Laser mouse, which is based on Ozmo’s OZMO2000 solution. Based on the OZMO2000 chip, the laser mouse doesn't even have a receiver, as it does not need one, being capable of linking straight to a PC's own WiFi connection.

The Targus Wi-Fi Laser mouse features an integrated four-way scroll wheel and a high-precision laser sensor that provides accurate performance on almost any surface. This input device is powered by a couple of Energizer batteries that offers up to 9-month of operation time.

"Wi-Fi is ubiquitous today, and we are excited that our next generation of mobile PC peripherals is powered by Wi-Fi technology," said Carolyn Perrier, vice president of product management, accessories at Targus.

"Our new line of Wi-Fi Laser mice with Ozmo's unique Wi-Fi technology offers a hassle-free connection to bring you optimal comfort, performance and usage."

The Targus Wi-Fi Laser Mouse retails for $49.99 each.
