LG: not less than 20 Android smartphone in 2010

On the smartphone market, the Taiwanese manufacturer HTC has particularly distinguished itself with its many terminals Android. Other manufacturers such as Motorola and Acer have also presented some devices running the Google system. For its part, LG does not want to stay trolling and posting a score of Korean Android smartphones by the end of the year.

Within the mobile communications department of the company's rate of profit has declined considerably to 0.9% against 6.7% last year. According to the CFO of LG, the company did not sufficiently prepared in the smartphone market, which is why it is not now among the industry leaders.

Today in France we find the W620 and LG GT540 Optimus, but LG Electronics plans to release no less than twenty terminals Android in 2010. The company starts to distribute including some in the U.S. as Ally LG, Verizon, LG and LG LU2300 Optimus Q SU2300. The Korean Times reports that agreements with operators in the Middle East are being negotiated.

LG should follow the lead of Motorola, which after several financial setbacks, has also had to refocus its mobile strategy on the Google system.
