Google Search for mobile is now looking at the App Store and Android Market

In addition to adding a function of minor customization of the standard search engine, Google today launched a new feature for owners of the Android and iPhone smartphones. "Google Search for mobile applications now actually looking directly at the heart of Apple's App Store and Android Market for Google.

The mobile version of website Google displays so from now links to applications, leading directly to the corresponding plugs on either catalog of applications. Some basic information such as publisher, the note or the price of the application is displayed when the results page of search engine.

Google simplifies but also short-circuits a little more how to download a mobile application. No other catalog of applications, in particular the Ovi Store or Windows Mobile Marketplace, unfortunately, is planned at the moment. But the search for applications on the App Store and Android Market is in turn accessible today from the U.S., before being gradually deployed in the rest of the world.
