A-Data launches in power supply and USB 3.0

One more! Historically focused on the market for memory, Taiwanese A-Data unveils at Computex its first range of power supplies, with models ranging from 550-1200 W. Called Horus, it is intended by the manufacturer to the public players concerned about their equipment, which are therefore willing to invest a certain sum in a power supply, without going so far as models afford the highest range. All models, 550, 650, 750, 850 and 1200 W, receive the label 80 Plus Bronze. Like many of its competitors, A-Data has delegated the production of these blocks in the main supplier of Taiwanese industry to better focus on their design. While waiting to judge the performance, the detail that kills the color of the light inside the food varies depending on the load of the latter ranging from green (0-50% load) to blue (50-100 %), or red in case of overload.

As for storage, A-Data logically surfs the wave of USB 3.0 and is preparing to launch three products compatible with this new interface: an external hard drive (mechanical, 3.5-inch) disk external hard drive (Flash, 2.5 inch) and a standard USB stick to be broken down into building 16, 32 and 64 GB It would provide performance of 85 MB / s read, cons 55MB / s writing. All of these products should be available around the beginning of September, at prices not yet determined.
