For Gingerbread, Google would build on the user interface

If Android smartphones bloom last few years Google does not seem to appreciate the customizations added by manufacturers. Or so reports the blog Techcrunch. Note that layers Sense HTC, Motorola Blur, Samsung TouchWiz, or Sony Ericsson Timescape sometimes tend to slow down the system.

For the next version of the system, called Gingerbread, Google is expected to focus on the interface, for example by offering alternatives to the native traditional homepage. Remember also that the development of specific interfaces is also a barrier in regard to updating the system. Indeed, the manufacturer is obliged to check the compatibility of this over-layer with the latest version of Android before it can offer customers.

According to the blog Androidandme, Google's efforts on the user interface could also be explained by the democratization of Android on other terminals. Indeed, the system will be equally ergonomic on a shelf or in a TV cabinet. Incidentally, should embark container Gingerbread Webm for playback of video streaming and offer better functionality to copy and paste.
