Firefox 3.6.6 is up on the management of the crash plugin

A few days after the release of Firefox 3.6.4, a new updated Web browser from the Mozilla Foundation is available for download. Stamped 3.6.6, its main reason for a correction of how the system works to protect against crashes caused by third party plugins.

When a software component does not respond, now Firefox is able to interrupt the associated plugin so that the browser does not remain static. With version 3.6.4, time to close the plugin was set at ten seconds: a sufficient time for most modern machines, but could be a bit short on older configurations. With Firefox 3.6.6, Mozilla has made the move to forty-five seconds.

The update can be retrieved through the menu update Firefox's built.
