Demo Tegra 2: Unreal III soon on our phones?

On the NVIDIA booth at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, it was possible to get a glimpse of the power of the chip Tegra 2. This chip replaces the first 3D Tegra was especially built in HD Zune from Microsoft (this portable media player has not been marketed in Europe). A prototype Tablet PC running a technical demonstration of the game playable Unreal III (Unreal Engine 3) calculated in real-time 3D. In taking command of the game, we were able to see that the flow was perfect.

Certainly, it was a demonstration inside and not in an open map, which calls for less computing power. On the other hand, all 3D effects run by the Unreal Engine 3 were not activated. Nevertheless, it is still impressive to obtain a 3D rendering similar to high-end PCs that were sold there ten years on an architecture designed to mere SmartBook or Smartphone.
