Corsair announced a new case: the Obsidian 700D

With his success with the Obsidian 800D, Corsair continues his adventure in the field of PC enclosures with a new reference: the Obsidian 700D. Declination of the 800D that we were testing it recently (see our Obsidian 800D, the first housing Corsair), the 700D takes in the line and the overall aesthetic with a facade resembling black square. First difference with Obsidian 800D, 700D model swapped its hard drive bay that can connect to hot to fixed locations not accessible from the front.

The total number of pitches 3 1 / 2 inches remains identical with 6 slots for hard drives and five locations of 5.25 inches. Keeping the same dimensions and characteristics that Obsidian 800D, the 700D model, however, loses the glass panel of top model. We find instead a full-size metal panel. With a warranty of two years, Obsidian 700D has not yet recommended retail price. Some sources suggest a price of around € 199 including taxes for availability in the month of April.
