Firefox 3.6: Support Web Open Font Format

Mozilla announced Tuesday that the next version of its browser would be a new string to his bow with the support of the Web Open Font Format or Woff, which will add to the sizes of TrueType and OpenType appeared in Firefox 3.5.

According to Mozilla, Woff has two advantages over TrueType and OpenType fonts, the first and foremost being that it is compressed. Indeed, the fonts Woff to download faster. The second advantage is that it supports tags and other metadata that can provide such information on the form from its use.
