Sony unveils notebooks with AMD

Sony seems to remember that there is no Intel processors in the world. The Japanese firm unveils new VAIO notebooks based on AMD processor Danube.

The first computer is marketed VAIO EE25FX, whose price was fixed at 650 U.S. dollars. 15.6-inch screen (1366 * 768), Athlon X2 II P320 clocked at 2.1GHz, 4GB RAM, 320GB HDD, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250 and a Blu-Ray up this machine.

The second, the VAIO EF22FX, will cost $ 720 and will ship the same processor, same amount of RAM and the same graphics card. Its screen passes to 17.3 inch (1600 x 900 display), the hard drive is upgraded to 500GB, and includes as one more DVD burner.

European prices and general availability were not announced.
