Crucial RealSSD C300 64GB: 335MB / s for 150 euros

The memory maker Lexar Media announced yesterday that it completed the family RealSSD C300 Crucial mark a new reference with capacity of 64 GB, now embodies the first prize.

The third variation of this model inherits the characteristics of its predecessors and offers a transfer rate highest reading at 335 Mb / s, which takes advantage of Serial ATA 6 Gbps which is one of the few to have . Serial ATA II, limited to 3 Gbps (300 MBps), would actually represented a bottleneck for SSD. The write transfer rate is about him rather painfully disappointing since leveled off at only 75 MB / s.

The RealSSD C300 are based on MLC NAND Flash to 34 nm and a Marvell controller. They adopt the 2.5-inch format that allows them to be used in a notebook or desktop.

The Crucial RealSSD C300 64GB will soon be marketed in France while retail price of 150 euros.
