Opera is three times better in Europe

Since the choice of Internet browser is set up to purchase a new position (screen bundle), Opera Software identifies a tripling of the number of daily downloads of its browser in Europe. Despite a growth margin which can be important, Opera would be a path on the edge of ballerinas.

At the summit Reuters on technology stocks, the news agency reported the comments of Jon von Tetzchner, co-founder of Opera. The latter simply began: "We are seeing a significant increase in our user base (...). Overall, we are satisfied ". Available on iPhone and soon on the iPad, the browser remains however a little troll against other browsers in Europe.

According to the firm StatCounter between April and May 2010, Opera had not only 1, 93% market share. However, the success of Opera is sought in the mobile market since it is always according to research firm, Opera is still the biggest with 27.01% market share in April, against 20.16% for Apple's Safari. It therefore appears that the browser has found its cruising speed.
