Lenovo announces IdeaPad finest

Lenovo today announced the IdeaPad S10-3s, which supplements without replacing the S10-3 , launched on the occasion of the launch of the new low power Intel platform, codenamed Pine Trail . Until now reserved for family ThinkPad, the appearance of the letter "S" in the reference shows the main distinctive feature of this new model: the "S" of "slim" (end).

The IdeaPad S10-3s does not measure and 16 mm thick, 25 mm cons for his older cousin. However, if the variations called ultrafine Laptop computers are less efficient than the versions on which they build, the new S10-3s does not suffer for him no sacrifice, however. Its 10-inch screen could actually be a definition WXGA option (as opposed to the usual WSVGA), although it is still no mention of accelerator chip for high definition. The hard drive has finally function fall detection until now reserved for higher models.

It also preserves the technical specifications of the S10-3 and thus the eternal home Atom N450 clocked at 1.66 GHz, 1 GB of DDR2 RAM and a 160GB hard drive can also accommodate the Atom N470 optional variant running at 1.83GHz processor and low consumption of Intel, 2 GB of RAM, hard disk with a capacity of 250 to 320 GB SSD or 16 to 32 GB  based operating system with which it comes, Windows 7 Starter Edition or Windows XP. Wi-Fi N is finally given a name-brand card Broadcom, a detail that is sure to attract the techie buff bitten apple.
The Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3s will be launched across the Atlantic in mid-April at the list price of $ 380 excluding taxes. The standard configuration comes with Windows 7 with a 6-cell battery, a couple that gives it autonomy and a weight not disclosed. The retail launch on the old continent has meanwhile not been detailed.
