New beta for Firefox 3.6: end soon

A new beta of Firefox 3.6 has been posted online Thursday by the Mozilla Foundation. This fifth version of the test, which precedes the arrival of the final version of the software is used to correct more than a hundred different problems, welcome developers. She also signs the arrival of some new features, including support for programming interfaces HTML5 related to file management, the ability to configure the browser's interaction with certain third party software, but also the ability to turn asynchronously executing scripts in order to speed up page loading.

This beta 5 marks also the full integration of the tool customization Personas, the appearance of a warning system for plugins that are no longer updated, playing full screen videos natively interpreted by the browser and better support for fonts Woff (Web Open Font Format).

Gradually, the Mozilla Foundation and the community of developers who are working on Firefox 3.6 then refine the software, whose final version will carry memory for other developments such as the management of accelerometers implemented on some portable machines or hardware acceleration elements. For more details, we can see the interview with Mike Beltzner, director of Firefox development, conducted in early December. Firefox 3.6 beta 5 will finally be downloaded and installed in French from this link for Windows, Mac OS and Linux.
