Christmas Specials: Windows 7 to 50 or 35 euro?

Microsoft France announces the launch of two new promotions for Windows 7. A destination to buyers of a new PC equipped and another for students.

Before the mass market October 22, Microsoft had proposed its operating system Windows 7 pre-order for some 76 000 copies distributed at 50 €. Microsoft seems to have acquired a taste for promotions, even if they are now more or less interesting as more targeted.

In partnership with online retailers such as Fnac, LDLC, Cdiscount, Rue du Commerce ... the purchase of a new PC equipped with Windows 7 (Home Premium, Business, Ultimate) can qualify to purchase a copy of the updated Windows 7 (boxed version) at a preferential rate. For now, we have been unable to identify any such offer from an online merchant, but Microsoft France has indicated that this discount is around 50 €.

An update so (and not a full version) to pass another Windows computer in the home version 7. For Perechodkin Philippe, Director of Windows product line at Microsoft France, the interest is to receive another home PC features of Windows 7 and particularly at the Group Residential for home networking.

This promotion is limited until December 31, 2009. We recall that Microsoft sells 150 € a Family Pack for three licenses of Windows 7 Home Premium (updated).

Windows 7 to € 35 for students
The second intake end of the year for students and really wants "aggressive". Like similar offerings for Office, students who have an e-mail from a registered school can download a copy of Windows 7 in its Home Premium or Business. Once again, there is an update, and the student must ensure that your PC is compatible.

This promotion student limited to one per student expires January 3, 2010.
