LG GM730 - communicator on Windows Mobile OS

Company LG Electronics unveiled in Russia market communicator GM730. This is the first communicator that supports the version of OS Windows Mobile 6.1, with the corporate three-dimensional user interface, S-class.

Under the agreement, LG and Microsoft Windows operating system is preinstalled in communicators LG. In 2009, plans a tenfold increase communicators LG, working on the basis of Windows. By the year 2012 will be released on 26 models of LG, working on the basis of Windows. Taken together, the result of an agreement may be issued up to 50 communicators LG, working on the basis of Windows.

The agreement also includes commitments by both companies to establish joint R & D department, whose purpose is to create phones with powerful specifications, based on the integration between hardware and software.
