The 3G spectrum auction process for GSM operators will take place on December 07. For CDMA operators it will take place two days after 3G auction.
Auctioning for Broadband Wireless Access (BWA) mainly for WIMAX services will also take place on the same day as that for 3G.
Successful bidders will have to pay bid amounts within five days of the closure of the auction and pay balance after 15 days.
The government will issue a memorandum on September 29. A mock auction will be held on October 3 and 4. Following this, interested players can submit their questions by October 8.
Pre-bid conference will be held on October 12. Clarifications if any will be issued on October 22.
Bidders will have to submit ownership certificates by November 23. Details about shareholding structure will have to be submitted beforehand on November 18.
