Lenovo IdeaPad Y710 with 17-inch monitor Launched in India


Lenovo has launched the IdeaPad Y710 notebook PC in the Indian market.
A multimedia powerhouse, the IdeaPad Y710 is equipped with a 17-inch monitor, and can be ideally used as a desktop replacement that delivers an exciting multimedia and gaming experience.

Lenovo for the first time has introduced RAID function in the IdeaPad Y710. The RAID function simultaneously uses both the hard disk drives to achieve greater levels of input/ output performance and data reliability. It also maintains mirror copies of the data on different drives to ensure complete data security.

For a graphics processor, the Lenovo comes equipped with the ATI Radeon Mobility HD 2600 with 512MB of memory. The notebooks features like WLAN connectivity, Dolby Home Theater system as well as an optional Blu-ray DVD reader ensures that the IdeaPad Y710 caters to the entertainment enthusiast.

The IdeaPad Y710 is part of the consumer PC range from Lenovo, which is a consumer-oriented line engineered with trendsetting designs that make bold design statements with their frameless screens, touch-sensitive control surfaces and unique textures. The notebook features face recognition, Dolby Home theatre surround sound and dedicated gaming controls.
