Chrome 34 Beta introduces hands-free Voice Search

Google released a new version of its Chrome browser, which is now in version 34 with support images "responsive".

With Chrome 34 beta, Google is also introducing “srcset” to let Web developers provide multiple resources in varying resolutions for a single image, in the hopes of speeding up page load times, reducing wasted bandwidth, and ending improperly formatted content. Specifically the web developer is able to define the different images that will be uploaded depending on the screen size of the user, be it a smartphone or a TV. This method is considered more efficient than the adjustments on the side of the style sheet (eg width: 100% height: auto;) since the smartphone will be able to download a different and lighter than the PC picture.

Google also removed all prefixes for its implementation of Web Audio to conform to W3C specifications, manage the web standards body. Developers and will also remove these prefixes. Memory, Web Audio ensures a recording from a Web page accessing the microphone, play an audio file, use the speech or the speech to text conversion.

Recall that this version also proposes to enable the "Google Go" option to make a voice command without having to press a button. With this feature it will be possible to initiate a search online but also some other actions: create a reminder on Google Now or set a timer.
