Office 2010 prices and dates in detail

Microsoft release schedule and pricing for Office 2010 for France. Each of the three editions will be sold in boxes or downloadable respectively full price or discounted. Office Home and Student 2010 includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote will be sold respectively 140 or 110 euros. Office Home and Small Business 2010 Outlook Rich, will in turn sold 380 or 250 euros. Office Professional 2010, plus Access and Publisher, will finally sold 700 or 500.


The Redmond company has also confirmed that Office 2010 would be free for future buyers of the 2007 version. It has actually released the software security technology from Microsoft Office 2010. This assures customers that have purchased and activated Office 2007 between March 5, 2010 and September 30, 2010 they can download the free edition of Office 2010 accordingly. They can choose to receive a DVD, with the cost of shipping and handling still unknown.

Eligible customers can go to this address when the corresponding issue will be available in their language. This will include providing proof of purchase date. Users can choose a 64-bit, although it is strongly recommended by Microsoft, pending supplements are appropriate. In the meantime, full details are available in French at the same address.

The publisher takes advantage of the last publication of this note to confirm that the development of Office 2010 is on schedule and initial the final version (RTM release to manufacturing) will be completed next month. Office 2010 will be available from May 12 to business customers, in June to consumers, without elaborating. In the meantime, the beta is available.
