Symbian OS fully free and open platform

Symbian OS fully free and open platform rumored for quite some time. And yet Symbian Foundation has announced an "open" source code, and for 4 months earlier than planned on the schedule date.

The company Symbian Foundation platform has opened the source code to ensure that any programmer can easily make changes and use it as a basis for further modification, not only for mobile devices.

Content Symbian source code is 108 packets and can be downloaded from the official website Symbian Foundation. Also available The Symbian Developer Kit and Product Development Kit. They are compatible with the Symbian version 3, which promise to fully staffed until the end of the first half of 2010.
