First smartphone platform from Nokia-Intel

Mobile World Congress in Barcelona was the decision of Intel and Nokia join forces to develop a new mobile operating system MeeGo. It is logical to assume that the first smartphone based on this platform will be the Finnish unit. But it seems that it is not. According to rumors, the first gadget to be MeeGo LG GW990. The latter was announced a month ago and is the joint brainchild of Intel and LG.
Official confirmation of these rumors manufacturers do not give. We only know that LG GW990 go to the series in the second half of this year. By this time it will be adapted to work MeeGo and will be in stores just for this platform.

Note that LG GW990 is not just a smartphone, a mobile computer is a new generation platform built on Intel Moorestown. He has a 4.8-inch touch screen with a resolution 1024h480 points, 5-megapixel camera, 16 gigabytes of built-in. From wireless modules in the gadget is a 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS.
