HP unveils new collection of laptop PC

HP has benefited from a press conference that was held last night to present the Autumn-Winter collection of notebooks. If all the products listed below have already been mentioned in our columns after leaks and announcements in the United States, this news is the opportunity to confirm which ones will be marketed in France and Europe, and especially at what price .


Among the "mini PC" as HP calls them, the Compaq Mini 311c will be actually marketed in France. This promising netbook built as planned around a WXGA 11.6-inch, an Intel Atom, but also and especially a NVIDIA Ion, which allows him to recall to decode and display video high definition. It will soon be marketed under Windows XP at very attractive price of 350 euros, until a mysterious updated October 22.

The HP Pavilion dm1, sporting the same form factor (11.6 inches) than the mini-notebook quoted above, and the Pavilion dm3 (13.3 inches), both mentioned in early September, will also be marketed in France. Both ultra-portable home solution Intel Culver and promise a range of about 8 hours. The manufacturer does not specify the sale price of these computers but is expected to tariffs ranging from 480 to 680 euros.

The HP Envy Envy 15 and 13, almost carried copies of Apple's MacBook Pro, also cross the Atlantic. Their price is French for the moment unknown.
