Opera Software released the beta version of Opera Unite, available in Opera 10.10 beta. Opera Unite is a novel technology platform that shakes up the old client-server computing model of the Web. Opera Unite turns any computer into both a client and a server, allowing it to interact with and serve content to other computers directly across the Web.
10.10 Opera beta integrates several services Opera Unite to test:
- File Sharing
- Sharing photos
- The Media Player to access their music from anywhere
- The Web Server to manage Web sites
- The Messenger for live chat with friends
- The Fridge to write notes via a direct link
All developers with skills in HTML, CSS and JavaScript are also invited to increase the number of services offered by Opera Unite. Opera Unite applications are accessible from any modern browser.

New applications can be installed from http://unite.opera.com/.
Running an application will give you a direct Web address to the Opera Unite application on your device.
