Intel predicts the arrival of television in 3D

After IFA largely marked by the arrival of 3D television, some say that Intel has an easy to predict a bright future for 3D television. Yet what happened during the IDF during the third day of conference. Justin Rattner, one of the leaders of Intel, has predicted that 3D television could soon find themselves in many living rooms. To illustrate this, several demonstrations were held including an example of broadcasting live 3D. Through a pair of special glasses, assistance could play in an external 3D being filmed by a camera specific.

But the most interesting demonstration was without any doubt the short screening of a U2 concert where Bono's hand appeared out of the screen and touch the audience.

As the equipment required for filming in 3D: it is a double camera. Intel and explain that its technology Light Peak as we mentioned yesterday can replace the fifty cables shooting 3D ... one!
