HTC Touch HD 2 will be based on Android OS

The network has information that the company is preparing a mobile phone HTC Touch HD 2, a follower of a multimedia communicator Touch HD, announced last year. According to unconfirmed information Touch HD 2 would be running Android, while the Touch HD is based on Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional.

HTC Touch HD 2 will be endowed with Qualcomm processor with a clock frequency of 628 MHz (with Touch HD 528 MHz) and 3.8-inch touch screen. Details about upcoming No other device does.



The main change between the HD and the HD2 will be processor based. Most HTC handsets run on a Qualcomm 528 MHz processor. The HD2, on the other hand, will sport a 628 MHz processor. That's not nearly as impressive as the Snapdragon, but it's a big boost for HTC's handset line.
