Samsung has developed its own operating system for smartphones

The company Samsung plans to create its own mobile platform based on Linux. Until now, the company did not own a mobile platform for smartphones. Samsung uses OS other developers, such as Windows Mobile, Symbian and Android, adding them to its Touch interface.



According to Dong-Hun Chang (Dong-hoon Chan), head of mobile unit Samsung, the company, like other manufacturers of mobile phones, found it necessary to develop its own operating system. Currently there is no information about the timing of release of the new OS of Samsung.
