Nokia 6220 Classic released in India

Nokia has chosen India as one of the first markets to get its 6220 Classic candybar released, a nicely-featured device announced by the Finnish company back in February, during MWC 2008. We don't know if this has anything to do with the fact that Nokia has been recently recognized as India's most trusted brand, but what's clear is that the 6220 Classic will be available for Indian mobile users starting the next few days, in two color versions: black and purple.
The new Nokia will have a retail price of 19,959 INR – about $465 or 295 Euros. This is justified by the fact that the handset has lots of features that kind of make it similar to an Nseries smartphone. First of all, the 6220 Classic comes with a 5 Megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss lens, auto focus, Xenon flash and video recording (up to 480 x 640 pixels at 30fps). Moreover, thanks to the built-in GPS of the phone, the camera also offers geotagging.
Other features packed by Nokia in the new handset include: Wi-Fi, Symbian S60 3rd Edition OS, Nokia Maps 2.0, a 2.2 inch TFT display with 16 million colors and 240 x 320 pixels, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, Music and Video players, TV out, email, HTML browser, Instant Messaging, 120MB of internal memory and microSD card support for up to 8GB.
