ASUS launched Eee PC 1000H and Eee PC 904H in India

ASUS, the leading laptop manufacturer has launched Eee PC 1000H and Eee PC 904H in Indian market. The two products that seem like appealing to the masses in India come after the launch of a top of the order product in the country.
The latest launch in Indian market of Eee PC 1000H is the largest mini notebook launched in India so far. Measuring 10.5 x 7.5 x 1.0 to 1.5 inches, the system is bigger than the 10-inch MSI Wind NB, and at 3.2 pounds is about half a pound heavier. However, the 1000H still slid nicely into a shoulder bag and felt extremely light in a backpack. ASUS has also kept the power brick slim, bringing the total travel weight to a manageable 3.6 pounds.

The 1000H features a 10-inch display, Asus's Super Hybrid Engine for longer battery lifespan of upto five hours, Dolby Sound Room, built-in Bluetooth and a keyboard that's 95% the size of generic notebooks. Furthermore, the netbook pairs a 1.3M Pixel webcam with its wireless Internet connection capabilities.

The Eee PC 904H features an 8.9" screen, 1024x600 resolution display and Super Hybrid Engine for battery lifespan upto 4.5 hours.

The two products priced Rs. 29990 and Rs. 26990 respectively follow the top of the order ultra mobile PC – the R2E that the company introduced in India merely two weeks ago. R2E is based on Intel Ultra Mobile Platform 2007 (A110 800 MHz processor and 945GU chipset). The manufacturer says that the shift to the new platform will lower power consumption and increase productivity of the device.
