The flash memory specialist has actually announced the imminent launch of a memory card SDXC UHS-1 (for ultra high speed bus) 64 GB capacity doubled compared to the theoretical maximum of the previous SDHC. This map meets the requirements of Class 10, which guarantees a minimum transfer rate of 10MB / s. In practice, it reaches up to 60MB / s read and 35MB / s write.

The memory card Kingston SDXC UHS-1 64 GB will be marketed in France and other countries worldwide from June 2010 retail price of 410 euros. The manufacturer recalls in this connection that these cards are destined for the time professionals and particularly the audiovisual sector.
