Fable III confirmed for PC

It was an open secret since the blunder from Microsoft last Friday, but it's now official: Fable III actually released on PC at the end of the year at a price of 54.99 euros. Microsoft Game Studios and Lionhead, Peter Molyneux's studio behind the franchise, just confirmed the news .

The studios also took the opportunity to detail the collector's edition of the game, which will be available on Xbox 360. The latter, which will be priced at 84.99 euros, will offer an exclusive play area, additional quests, a dog named Boxer, unpublished equipment and a game of cards. The standard edition will cost 64.99 euros for it.

The only remaining unknown: the release date of the game, which should be revealed at E3 next month.
