MW600 Hi-Fi wireless headset with FM-radio
Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 company announced the launch of Hi-Fi wireless headset with FM-radio MW600. Thanks to Bluetooth technology and built-in FM-radio, WM600 can send music to a headset with a high accuracy over-ear headphones with a stereo amplifier.

Mac OS X 10.6.2 no longer supports the Atom
According to a posting on the blog Stellarola, the next update of Snow Leopard (Mac OS X 10.6.2), would no longer support the Intel Atom, mainly reserved for netbooks.
Insofar as the mini-notebook entry level are more or less standard hardware configurations (or Z500 Atom N270/N280 + Intel 945GSE Express), this has enabled the hackintosh community to develop tools of relatively standard installation and running from one machine to another. In the midst of a legal saga against Psystar, Apple intends to stop further illegal copies of its operating system. This means that the hackintosh community will remain on Mac OS X 10.6.1 until the publication of an unofficial patch.
On several occasions, Apple has posted its hostile position against the netbook market. Tim Cook, director of technical operations, explained: "These products use less powerful components, a software technology that is not good with a display binding.. This initiative further fueling rumors of a potential tablet based on an ARM processor. Known under the name 'iPad or Slate in the blogosphere, it would be expected for the month of January.

VoIP: Skype would soon become open source
On his personal blog, the French developer Faurax Olivier explains that the software VoIP Skype is becoming open source. While searching for a manager of Red Hat packages (RPMs) for Skype, Mr. Faurax received from the development team this answer: "We are aware that there is no version for Mandriva yet. We are pleased to inform you that Skype will join the open source community. "
These remarks were confirmed again by adding that the publication of the code should be done very soon. No date has yet been explicitly mentioned. This initiative will allow developers of various Linux community to develop specific versions optimized for each of the distributions of Linux.
One can however consider the components that will be published with the community. Indeed, the two founders of the software, Janus Friis and Niklas Zennstrom are currently in litigation against the investment firm Index Ventures. Having bought Skype in September 2005, Ebay wants to effect complete resale software for $ 2.75 billion. Mr. Friis and Mr. Zennstrom explain their side they have the rights to the technology Joltid inside the application and to make phone calls.
