Mini 3i the smartphone of Dell in China and Brazil

The U.S. Dell has officially announced the upcoming release in two countries - China and Brazil - its first smartphone, the Mini 3i. To diversify its business, Dell chose therefore to enter the world of mobile phone with a smartphone equipped with the system Google Android.

Dell has given no precise information about its technical characteristics. The specific brand just as the smartphone "Mini 3" will be available from networks of China Mobile, the first Chinese mobile operator with over 500 million customers. It will be launched in this country in the coming weeks at a price not yet announced.

In Brazil, Claro is the operator with 42 million customers, who will do the same by the end of the year. It will be available later in other countries including in Europe through a partnership with Vodafone the United States via AT & T and Verizon, in Singapore through M1 and Starhub or via Maxis in Malaysia. Compatible with the Chinese 3G standard, the Mini 3i is also compatible with 3G/3G + networks in other European countries where it is marketed.

Note that the Chinese version of the smartphone incorporates no WiFi unlike its Brazilian version known as the "Mini 3iX. The Dell smartphone incorporates a touch screen of 3.5 inches and a digital camera of 3 megapixels.

ViewSonic VCP08 smartphone running Windows XP

Motorola MT710 based OPhone

Chinese mobile operator China Mobile has started  Motorola MT710 Communicator. The machine will go on sale soon. Motorola MT710 is running Open Mobile System (OMS - based on the operating system Google Android). Recall that the company Motorola, according to information from several sources, plans to introduce eight OPhone for cellular operator China Mobile.

Is now known that Motorola MT710 has a 3.7-inch touch screen with a resolution of 845 × 480 pixels (WVGA), and the module WAPI (Chinese analog of Wi-Fi). Communicator supports 3G networks in the standard TD-SCDMA.

Portable device with a 6-inch flexible display

Wistron company is developing a portable device with a 5 or 6-inch display. Display new items will be flexible, similar to technology used in electronic paper.

It is not clear whether it is the communicator, an electronic book or anything else. It is expected that the company Wistron will present its development in 2010.
