Concept Phone Sony Black Tribute

Designer Jara Guo (Jaren Goh) has created the concept of a mobile phone called Sony Black Tribute.

Design of apparatus is simple and elegant.

The “Sony Black Tribute” that we see here, woos you with its ultra-wide screen and hot looks. Finished in aluminum with a satin touch; this phone scores well in the looks department. Unfortunately there are no tech-specs (apart from 3.2 mp cam).

Nokia N97 you can Pre-Order

Nokia Spain went official with the pre-order availability of the upcoming Nokia N97, and now we learn that the high-end smartphone can also be ordered in advance by users in the United States, Germany, Italy and Sweden on the phone's official page that just went online on the Finnish mobile phone maker's website.

The handset is being sold with no contract agreements, which sets its price tag at $699, yet those who would like to wait a little bit until the Nokia N97 is added to the offering of a carrier will get it for a much lower price for sure.

Nokia N 97 features a 3.5in widescreen 640x360 touchscreen display, alongside a 5Mp camera with Carl Zeiss lens, 32GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot that supports a further 16GB of memory.

The N97 also benefits from a slide-out qwerty keyboard, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and HSDPA connectivity as well as A-GPS.

Windows 7 RC 1 now available for public

Microsoft has made available the Release Candidate (RC) of Windows 7, marking another milestone on the way to the final availability of its latest operating system. Also available is a beta of Windows XP Mode, a compatibility tool to help users migrating from XP to Windows 7.

Windows 7 RC was made available to download at 2pm UK time on 30 April for IT professionals with a subscription to Microsoft's MSDN or Technet sites. The code will be generally available on 5 May from Microsoft's Windows site.

Nevertheless, Microsoft "strongly advises" those running Windows 7 to upgrade, as the RC code is the most polished and is unlikely to change much between now and the release to manufacture (RTM) of the final code.

Windows XP Mode, disclosed earlier this week, will enable consumers and small business customers to run any software not compatible with Windows 7. It is available only for the Professional and Ultimate editions of Windows 7.
